The client of this ground floor basement flat wanted to create an improved space within the existing footprint. The result of the carefully thought out redesign ensured that this was achieved. The scheme included incorporating a modern lightbox within the rear garden, enhancing daylight infiltration into a once dark basement and a glass partition to enclose the stairwell at the basement, allowing light into the upper ground floor hall. The property has been refurbished to a high standard using products such as traditional wooden parquet flooring to compliment the Victorian style.
