The client's brief for this project focused on transforming the existing property into a contemporary, light and airy environment. The existing footprint was retained and redesigned to achieve this. The house was fully refurbished and the existing basement area reconfigured to accommodate a large open-plan kitchen. The existing rear facade and roof were opened up to allow the internal and external spaces to connect and daylight to infiltrate.
