This project demonstrates what can be achieved when developing properties with relatively small amenity spaces and a dramatic change in levels. The small side extension and opening up of the rear façade created a large kitchen and dining area. We designed out the change in levels when connecting the new extension to the main part of the house, through introducing a glass box structure it allowed us to bring natural light into the dark circulation space, opening up new functions and creating an office.
